Mély fájdalommal tudatjuk mindazokkal, akik ismerték és szerették, hogy dr. Schachinger Mária belgyógyászati osztályunk nyugalmazott főorvosa 2023. április 10-én, hétfőn elhunyt.
Főorvos Asszony 1936.02.24 született Budapesten. Egyetemi tanulmányait Budapesten, a Semmelweis Orvostudományi Egyetemen végezte 1961-ben, még abban az évben el kezdett dolgozni kórházunkban. 1997-ig megszakítás nélkül a Szent Pantaleon Kórház belgyógyászati osztályán dolgozott. 1966-ban belgyógyászatból szakorvosi vizsgát tett. A belgyógyászaton belül a haematológiai és kardiológiai területek érdekelték, ezen a két szakterületen folyamatosan fejlesztette tudását, tágította ismereteit. Adjunktusi, majd 1984-ben főorvosi kinevezését kapott. Nyugdíjba vonulásáig a belgyógyászati osztályunkon részlegvezető főorvosként dolgozott. Nyugdíj mellett két évig járóbeteg szakrendelésen a belgyógyászati betegeket látta el, majd az ideggyógyászati osztályon vállalt ügyeleti szolgálatot, kisebb megszakításokkal 2012-ig.
2021-ben a Semmelweis Egyetemtől megkapta a Gyémánt Diplomáját, mivel abban az évben volt orvosi diploma szerzésének 60 éves évfordulója.
Nyugdíjba vonulását követően is jó kapcsolatot ápolt régi kollégáival, korábbi betegeivel, némelyik kapcsolata még akkor is megmaradt, mikor elköltözött a lányához, aki Japánban alapított családot.
Főorvos asszony páratlan humoráról, a régi kórházi dolgozóinknak a mai napig van egy-egy maradandó emléke, együtt átélt kedves poénos sztorija.
Hamvai hazaszállítása után, temetéséről később intézkednek.
Családja fájdalmában osztozva, emlékét kegyelettel és tisztelettel megőrizzük.

Dr. Maria Schachinger 1936 – 2023
It is with deep sorrow that we inform all those who knew and loved her that Dr. Maria Schachinger, retired chief physician of our internal medicine department, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023.
Chief Medical Officer was born on 24.02.1936 in Budapest. She completed her university studies at the Semmelweis University of Medical Sciences in Budapest in 1961, and started working in our hospital the same year. Until 1997 he worked uninterrupted at the internal medicine department of St. Pantaleon Hospital. In 1966 she passed the specialist exam in internal medicine. Within internal medicine, she was interested in the fields of haematology and cardiology, in these two fields she continuously developed her knowledge and broadened her knowledge. She was appointed assistant professor and then chief medical officer in 1984. Until her retirement, she worked as chief physician at our internal medicine department. In addition to retirement, she worked for internal medicine patients in an outpatient clinic for two years, then undertook on-call service at the neurological department, with minor interruptions until 2012.
In 2021, she received her Diamond Diploma from Semmelweis University, as that year marked the 60th anniversary of her medical degree.
Even after her retirement, she maintained good relationships with old colleagues and former patients, some of which remained even after she moved in with her daughter, who started a family in Japan.
To this day, our old hospital staff still have lasting memories and fond jokes about the unique humour of Mrs. Chief Medical Officer.
Sharing the pain of her family, we will preserve her memory with grace and respect.
